2. Collection and Processing of Personal Data
We collect and process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide our website and our services.
When you visit our website, our hosting provider's server automatically records technical data (IP address, browser type, access time, referrer URL). This data is processed solely to operate and secure the website and is deleted after 7 days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website).
When you contact us (by email or contact form), we process the information you provide (name, email address, and the content of your message) in order to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding) otherwise. We retain this correspondence only for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and to comply with any statutory retention obligations.
3. Website Analytics
For visitor statistics we use the analytics function built into our website platform (Framer). This function is cookieless: it does not set cookies or create persistent identifiers, and processes only an anonymised, daily-hashed value derived from your IP address and browser. No individual visitor profiles are created. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the use of our website).
4. Cookies
Our website uses only technically necessary cookies that are required for the site to function (in particular a session token). These are stored and accessed under § 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG without consent. No third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies are used, and no consent banner is therefore required.
5. Sharing with Third Parties / Processors
We do not share your data with third parties except:
with processors who provide our website, email and IT infrastructure under data-processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR: Framer B.V. (website hosting and built-in analytics), Microsoft (email via Microsoft 365), and Squarespace, Inc. (domain registration and DNS);
where we are legally required or entitled to do so (e.g. to BaFin or the tax authorities).
6. International Data Transfers
Some of these providers may process personal data in the United States. Such transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where the recipient is certified under it, and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards using the contact details above.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
Object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
Withdraw any consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
