Christof Heinickel

Biography

Christof Heinickel has been with MNB since January 2000, serving as IT Administrator and the firm's designated Information Security Officer (Informationssicherheitsbeauftragter). He oversees MNB's IT infrastructure, mail servers, and cybersecurity posture, with responsibility for DORA compliance and the firm's operational resilience framework. Christof brings unparalleled experience from senior IT leadership roles at major German enterprises, ensuring MNB's infrastructure meets institutional-grade standards despite the firm's boutique scale.

Career

In addition to his role at MNB, Christof currently serves as Team Leader for the IT-Service Desk at Leica Camera AG in Wetzlar, a position he has held since July 2024.

Prior to Leica, he spent over six years at Berlitz Germany, where he served as Team Manager EMEA, IT Service Desk for over three years and as IT System Administrator before that.

Earlier in his career, Christof was IT Sysadmin at Nowaste for over five years, and held a long-standing role at Gewürz und Teehaus Schnorr combining sales, team management, and IT administration.
